The main function of banana plug

Update:11 Apr 2020

Banana plugs and sockets are various power supply access ports, and their applications are extremely common. All removable electrical appliances need to be connected to the power supply through the socket and plug. There are many types of electrical plugs and sockets, including single-phase two-eye, single-phase three-eye, and three-phase four-eye safety plugs and sockets.
Pay attention to the following points when installing, using banana plugs and sockets:
First, banana plugs and sockets should be sturdy on the insulation board, electrical board and switchboard outside.
Second, when installing a three-hole socket, the grounding hole (large hole) must be installed above, and the grounding terminal must be connected to the grounding wire, and the neutral wire cannot be borrowed as the grounding wire.
Third, the phase line should be connected to the regular binding post (marked with the letter "L"). The 220v power supply usually enters the socket as "left zero right phase". The socket with both two holes and three holes is a combination socket, which is often used as a mobile socket.
Fourth, the rated current of the banana plug or socket is greater than the rated current of the load of the connected electrical appliance, and the rated current of the electrical appliance is not allowed to exceed the rated current of the socket.
Fifth, the use of moving plugs must be clean, pay attention to moisture, so as to avoid insulation leakage or short circuit.
Sixth, some single-phase three-eye plugs, sockets or three-phase four-eye plugs, sockets must be connected to the grounding terminal with a grounding symbol when wiring, and connected with the metal shell of the electrical appliance to ensure the use of electricity Safe.
Seventh, the plug and socket must be in reliable contact when wiring. The metal ends of the wires on the adjacent terminals must adhere to a certain interval, and no burrs are allowed to prevent short circuit.
